LOVE IT!!! If you all knew how many layers many I used...
Little Fact: Did you know if I didn't hide NO layers there be more then 600 visable layers
Tools: Photoshop CS4 Time: 7 hours +
NOTE:
I've recently come to realise that people are actually posting my work as there own on various other websites. So for you own benefit, if you do download this and place it on a website, magazine, Poster or any form of media medium please inform me. Even though it's has Creative Common, I don't want it to be spreading like a plague and ending up being "Owned" by someone else, even though I have full rights for it. If you going to place this as your wallpaper then I'll be happy if you do.
Hi! This graphic is amazing, and I'd love your permission to use it as a background in a picture on a web channel . Please email me: katieakana@gmail.com thanks!
The Skyline: Each column consists of 17 different squares in 29 different rows when no layers are hidden. Which is equal to 493 individual squares, But Also on top of the squares the is a glow on top of them which is another 493, which makes it 986 layers. I didn't merge any of layers because I wanted to keep everything non-flattened, so if anything was clashing or if anything goes wrong I can just take it from another section of the skyline and quickly continue.
And the Reflection is pretty a non-flattened copy of the skyline again with different effects.
So, All together (986x2)+1=1973 I should really change it to "More than 1900 Layers" or "Just under 2000 Layers"
You gotta do it, man: throw a copyright watermark up there. Yeah, it takes away from the work, but u can just add a watermark that's of your dA address. If they're usin' it, do it.
-> background
-> skyline
-> reflection/perspective
so why did you use 600 layers then?^^
Well background is just one layer.

i'd just have reduced it to one layer if it got too much...^^
I agree with the others, btw--very cool pic.
